Orthodontist in Lancaster, OH
I was born in Peru and grew up in a small town in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. My fascination with orthodontics began back in sophomore year of high school! Can you imagine that! I remember being an orthodontic patient and really enjoying my appointments. Watching my teeth improve every month gave me the confidence to smile more. Honestly, I found the whole process fascinating, and those two years changed my life and inspired me to become an orthodontist. I feel blessed to have a job where I can create smiles that not only look beautiful but also have the power to change someone’s life.
Education
I started my 11-year academic journey at the University of Michigan by earning a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. I then continued to get my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Driven by my dream of becoming an orthodontist, I then went on to receive my Master of Science degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from The Ohio State University.

Treatment Philosophy
Taking good care of my patients’ smiles and their oral health is very important to me. I believe orthodontics goes beyond simply straightening teeth. I look at the whole person, considering my patient’s overall facial aesthetics, breathing, jaw joints, and jaw function. By addressing these areas, we not only achieve a beautiful smile but also enhance the patient’s quality of life beyond what straight teeth alone can offer.
